16 October 2010: Plant Heritage Talks and Lunch

11.00 A trip to South America with the Alpine Garden Society - an illustrated talk by Malcolm Pharoah to see the mountainous flora of the Andes. 12.00am Walk around the garden followed by lunch in the Tea Room. 2.00pm Talk by Jonathan Hutchinson (holder of the national collection of Scadoxus) on his experiences of a trip to south west Ethiopia to see Scadoxus nutans in its natural forest habitat. Do come along to find out more about this beautiful plant and the other plants and animals seen on the trip. Plant sales, raffle
